The "DELTA" hotel was opened in 2005. It is located at the food of the Rodopi Mountains, in South - West of Bulgaria. The resort is situated in a hilly area, 550 altitudes, near Mesta river. Kanina river passes along the resort. The Hotel has a mineral pool in which the water is by thermal springs. This mineral water was used by the Roman times.
The climate is soft because of the Mediterranean draughts, which make the place perfect for balneotherapy. The water`s temperature is about 35° C, it is limpid, colourless, with low solidity. The mineral water is medication used for different illnesses.
The "DELTA" resort is 10 km. away from Gotse Delchev, 45 km from Bansko, 25 km from the Greek borderline, 8 km from away from Lieshten village and 18 km from Kovatchevica village. Near the resort is situated the ancient Roman town Nicopolis ad Nestum, which let`s you see a real Roman architecture.
Taking into consideration a reach and a very material base, the exploiting period of the hotel lasts all year. A modern SPA centre will be building soon. He will offer to our quests different kinds of procedures, which will make them to feel special.
Eco- paths, suitable for tourism. lead to Lieshten village and Kovatchevica village. Both villages are priceless historical landmarks. The village - museum Kovatchevica is preserved the specifically Rodopian architecture by the Bulgarian Renaissance.
